A quiet, confident identity for an invite-only onchain summit, turning a crowded calendar of crypto events into the one room founders and funds make time for.

The idea

Most crypto events shout. Quorum is two days in a quiet room with people who already know each other’s names, so the identity had to earn its place by saying less. We took the word literally: the minimum number of people needed for a decision to count. Everything we made is about presence, who is in the room, and nothing else.

The work

A single-weight serif wordmark, set small and left-aligned, never centred. The mark is a ring of dots that only closes when the guest list is full, which we animate on the invitation page and print as a blind emboss on the physical cards. Palette is bone, ink and one dull gold. Signage, lanyards and the summit programme all follow the same restraint.

What happened

The first summit filled its sixty places within a fortnight of invitations going out, and the second has a waiting list. Jonas tells me the printed cards get kept, which is the nicest thing you can say about print. We are now working on the third year.
